Responsible Gaming

We want Midium to be a fun, engaging part of your day. We do not want it to be a source of harm. This policy sets out how we design Midium with player welfare in mind, the tools available to you to manage your engagement, and where to find help if your relationship with prediction games or with related promotional credit is becoming a problem.

The nature of the Service

Midium is a skill-based prediction game. XP earned in the application has no monetary value and cannot be sold, transferred, or withdrawn. Where XP is exchanged for promotional credit on Midas Exchange that credit is non-withdrawable promotional value subject to deposit, wagering, and expiry rules; profits earned trading with such credit are governed by the rules of Midas Exchange. We do not operate a cash-betting service. Even so, we recognise that prediction games and adjacent promotional schemes can engage the same patterns that lead to problem gambling for some people. We therefore adopt the following commitments as a matter of policy.

Our commitments

  • We do not advertise the Service with claims of guaranteed wins, guaranteed earnings, or risk-free outcomes. Outcomes are inherently uncertain.
  • We do not target marketing at minors.
  • We require all users to confirm they are at least 18 years old (21 where the local minimum is higher) before they can use the Service.
  • We block access from jurisdictions where the operation of the Service would require a licence we do not hold.
  • We publish all subscription prices clearly within the application and on the website. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time through your device's app-store account settings.
  • We do not chase players with persistent push notifications that exploit absence; you can disable notifications at any time through your device's notification settings.
  • We provide in-application self-management tools, including session-time reminders, daily-play limits, and self-exclusion (see below).
  • We monitor account behaviour for patterns that may indicate problematic engagement, and we may proactively contact you, slow down notifications, or temporarily limit access when our systems detect such patterns.

Tools available to you

Inside the Midium application, in Settings → Responsible play, you can:

  • Set a daily session limit. Once you reach the limit the application will not start a new session that day. The limit takes effect immediately and cannot be increased for 24 hours after a change.
  • Set a daily, weekly, or monthly subscription-spend cap. When the cap is reached the application will not allow further in-app purchases until the period resets.
  • Activate a cool-down. A cool-down freezes new sessions for 24 or 72 hours.
  • Self-exclude. Self-exclusion blocks new sessions, prevents new subscriptions, and disables promotional notifications for a period you choose between 1 month, 6 months, 1 year, or permanent. Self-exclusion takes effect immediately and cannot be reversed during the chosen period. Permanent self-exclusion can be reversed only by writing to responsible-gaming@midium.live with documented reflection.

If you are unable to access the application — for example, because you have already self-excluded — you can request the same actions on your account by writing to responsible-gaming@midium.live.

Signs to look out for

Please consider whether any of the following describes your engagement with the Service or with prediction or trading more broadly: spending more time on the Service than you intended; spending money you cannot afford on subscriptions or related products; hiding your engagement from people close to you; chasing losses or repeatedly trying to "win back" what feels owed; feeling distressed, anxious, or angry when you cannot play; neglecting work, study, sleep, relationships, or self-care because of your engagement; or using the Service or related products to escape low mood or anxiety. If one or more of these resonate, please consider taking a cool-down or self-exclusion, talking to someone you trust, and reaching out to one of the organisations below.
